Elite Privileges Terms

Qualification. Hilton Grand Vacations Club currently affords three tiers of “Elite” recognition privileges to its members who acquire vacation ownership interests directly from Hilton Grand Vacations or such other resort sellers determined by Hilton Grand Vacations Club in its sole discretion. ClubPoints acquired through unrelated third parties do not qualify toward Elite. 

Elite privileges are available upon qualification and cease immediately upon disqualification.  Renewal of Elite privileges will occur automatically so long as the then applicable qualifications are met on December 31 of each year and the program is offered and operated by Hilton Grand Vacations. If the applicable qualifications are not met on December 31, Elite privileges will not be renewed for the following year.

To qualify for Elite status privileges, Members must maintain a designated minimum number of Qualifying ClubPoints annually.The minimum number of Qualifying ClubPoints may vary from year to year.  Qualifying ClubPoints do not include any interests acquired from third party resellers or foreclosure processes.Qualifying ClubPoints must include ownership from one of the following resorts:

Elite privileges are provided to Club Members in good standing only and only available during a reserved stay at a Hilton Grand Vacations Club resort confirmed through Hilton Grand Vacations Club.

Privileges. Privileges are subject to availability and may be offered for limited or trial terms.  Accrued or earned Elite privileges do not constitute property of members.   No reliance should be made by any member that any privilege or the Elite program will continue to be available. 

Elite levels, privileges, services, rules and qualification criteria may change, be suspended or terminated at any time at the sole discretion of Hilton Grand Vacations with or without notice.

There is no cash value or redemption available for unused privileges. Resorts accessible as an Elite privilege may have specific check-in days and reservations must be made in seven (7) night increments; event week reservations at such resorts are not available. Please refer to the current Club Fee Schedule for applicable reservations fees.

Resort and unit specific privileges, including discount Open Season rental rates, room upgrades, daily newspaper, private check-in, pre-assigned units, early/late check-in/out, if offered, are applicable only at select Hilton Grand Vacations Club resorts. Pre-assigned units are limited to one room (per stay) and are not guaranteed. Such benefits are not available at:  Fiesta Americana Resorts, Club Intrawest Resorts, Grand Pacific Resorts, all South Florida resort properties, all European properties, Anderson Ocean Club by Hilton Grand Vacations Club Vacation Suites. Reservation or transaction fee discounts apply only to fees of $99 or less and may not be combined with any other discount.Open Season rental discounts cannot be combined.

Other.  All additional terms and conditions of Club membership published at HGVClubProgram.com apply in addition to any other terms and conditions of applicable programs and/or benefits or services offered by Hilton Grand Vacations, such as owner referral programs, bonus point redemption rules or third party programs.  Elite privileges are non-transferable and may not be bartered, sold or exchanged. All interpretations of rules concerning Elite privileges rules shall be at the sole discretion of Hilton Grand Vacations.

All persons seeking Elite privileges are responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to applicable terms and conditions. Hilton Grand Vacations will not be responsible for any failure to do so and is not responsible for any inaccurate or incorrect information provided to any person from any third party.

Hilton Grand Vacations Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate Elite privileges for any member who violates any Hilton Grand Vacations program rules, is not a member in good standing or who appears to be using the Elite program in a manner inconsistent with the terms of the program including dishonest conduct, circumvention or rules, fraud or theft.

The Elite program has no pre-determined termination date and may continue until such time as Hilton Grand Vacations decides to terminate the program at any time with or without notice.

Elite privileges are subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Elite privileges may be subject to income or other taxes. Such taxes and all disclosures related thereto are the sole responsibility of the Member or recipient.

The failure by Hilton Grand Vacations to exercise rights or enforce any violations hereunder will not constitute a waiver.

The program terms and conditions herein supersede any prior terms and conditions.

Individual Privilege Rules

Automatic Room Upgrade within Unit Size.

Elite Plus or Elite Premier qualifying Club Members may upgrade to the next best available unit within the same suite size at no additional charge and requiring no additional points.  Upgrade is automatic and available one time per reservation. 

Upgrade limited to the next level of accommodations above the original reserved accommodations, must be at the next highest ClubPoint value, and must have the same number of bedrooms as the original accommodations reserved, provided however, studio units may be upgraded to a one bedroom unit if all other criteria are met. For example, a reservation for a two bedroom may automatically be upgraded to a two bedroom plus; however,a reservation for a two bedroom premier will not be eligible for an upgrade to a three bedroom.  If the next best available unit is not available according to the criteria herein, no change will be made to the existing reservation. 

Upgrades are subject to availability and limited to Club and Home Resort reservations using only ClubPoints and/or Bonus Points.  Automatic upgrade not available for Home Week reservations, Open Season reservations, reservations using cash/credit card alone or combined with points or any other reservations, including special promotions or marketing programs. 

Additional details:

  • Automatic upgrades may be made 45 days prior to arrival through check-in.
  • No additional points or expense will be assessed for any automatic upgrade.
  • Notification of an automatic upgrade will be sent to the email address on the Member’s account.
  • Members may elect to opt-out of the automatic upgrade at the time of reservation.
  • Upgrade privileges not available for ADA requested accommodations.
  • Reservations for two or more sequential check-in dates do not qualify for automatic upgrade for any of the reserved accommodations.

Benefit not available with any other reservations, including rentals, special promotions or marketing programs. Welcome gift delivered to the Member’s room prior to 6:00 p.m. the day after check-in. Elite Premier qualifying Club Members may receive complimentary one-way ground transportation from the airport nearest the Hilton Grand Vacations Club resort for which the member has a Home Week, Club, Home Resort or Open Season reservation.  Transport also available from JFK, LGA or Newark in connection with reservations at West 57th by Hilton Club. Benefit not available with any other reservations, including rentals, special promotions or marketing programs. Participating destinations include:

Ground service transportation offered through GroundLink, subject to the following:

  • Reservations must be made via: www.groundlink.com/hgvc at least 72-hours prior to arrival at the destination airport and must begin at the destination airport.
  • Service limited to one-way transportation from the airport to resort destination for a maximum of three (3) passengers.
  • Transfer includes tax, gratuity, applicable toll payments as well as airport meet-and-greet service.
  • Oversized bags, car seats and requests for additional stops cannot be accommodated by this service.
  • Cancellations must be made at least three (3) hours prior to scheduled pick-up time and may be requested through GroundLink via phone or email at:  1-877-227-7260 or vipreservations@groundlink.com. Cancellations made less than three hours of scheduled pick-up, may be subject to cancellation fees.
  • Airport pick-up date must coincide with the reservation arrival date at a participating Club property.
  • Members must meet GroundLink representative near baggage claim within thirty (30) minutes of arrival at gate for domestic flights and one hour for international flights.
  • Inquiries regarding confirmed transfers may be directed to GroundLink via phone or email at 1-877-227-7260 or vipreservations@groundlink.com.
  • One transfer permitted per reservation.
  • Valid HGV Club confirmation number must accompany each transfer request.

Extended advance reservation windows.

All Elite qualifying Club Members are eligible to reserve accommodations during an advanced booking window at participating resorts.  Except as noted in the list of currently participating resorts below, the advanced booking window begins one year in advance generally ends 276 days (approximately 9 months) prior to check in.  Some advance reservations are limited to seven night stays and require check in on the resorts standard check-in day.

  • Hokulani Waikiki by Hilton Grand Vacations Club (Advance booking window ends 180 days prior to check-in)

  • Club Intrawest – Sandestin

Reservation privileges beyond the Club membership resort access.

Reservation privileges are extended to Elite qualifying Club Members at the following properties:

  • ResorTime.com – a collection of more than 30exclusive four- and five-star resorts

Grand Mayan reservation details:

  • Reservations may be made 365 days prior to the desired check-in date.
  • ClubPoints and/or Bonus Points may be used to book reservations at Grand Mayan resorts based on availability.
  • Members have a minimum seven (7) night stay requirement at Grand Mayan resorts.
  • A $199.00 transaction fee per reservation and the standard Club Cancellation policy is applicable.
  • Reservations may only be requested via telephone by calling an Elite Club Specialist (bookings are not available online)

Reservation privileges are extended to Elite Plus qualifying Club Members at the above resorts as well as the following International Holiday Retreats properties:

International Holiday Retreats reservation details:

  • Reservations may be made 365 days prior to the desired check-in date.
  • Members can use Current Year, borrowed, or rescued ClubPoints and Bonus Points as well as RCI deposited Points to book reservations at International Holiday Retreats properties based on availability.
  • There is no minimum night stay requirement at Gulliver’s Travel Associates properties. Members have a minimum seven (7) night stay requirement at Holiday Cottages Group properties.
  • Standard transaction fees per reservation and Club Cancellation policies apply.
  • Reservations may only be requested via telephone by calling an Elite Club Specialist (bookings are not available online)
